When all else fails, be grateful
There have been some things going on with loved one's health that has me concerned. I believe my Higher Power has everything under control, and He works everything out for my best. Nonetheless, I know that my biggest "growth spurts" have always been really taxing; emotional/spiritual growth in particular.
I'm grateful for the temperature finally getting to feel like Autumn, for a warm bed and a functional vehicle, and for the people who would be willing to talk to me at any time, day or night. I am grateful for the things God has removed from my life, as well as His unfathomable patience and mercy toward me, and my family. I'm grateful the be winding up my 23rd year clean & sober. What a strange trip it's been! Have a peaceful and joyous week, my friends.
