What we believe

By: WC

Beliefs have the power to create and the power to destroy. Human beings have the awesome ability to take any experience of their lives and create a meaning that disempowers them or one that can literally save their lives.

For a good portion of my life  I believe that I wasn't worth while. As a child there was a series of traumatic event that happened to me. Through each one of those experiences I developed a very negative self image! The negative image helped to perpetuate my addiction and in turn I started to hate myself more. It became such a vicious cycle that was extremely hard to break. Somewhere along the way I started to meet people that's could see my potential, even though I wasn't living up to it. I was asked to start making positive affirmations in the mirror daily. Man was that a struggle! I felt stupid looking into the mirror saying you're worthy of love, you're smart, you're beautiful. But as time progressed I started to slowly believe these things. I started listening to motivational speakers occasionally. I got clean and sober and I began to see that I was worthwhile and I have a lot to offer! Today I believe I found my  purpose, something im truly passionate about. Inspiring people to believe that they are worthwhile!!!

When you catch a glimpse of your potential, that's when passion is born.
