DARE ON AIR - "SHOUT-OUTS FOR THOSE THAT CARE"
WHO OR WHICH RECOVERY GROUP
HAS HELPED YOU OUT THE MOST?
A dare-challenge presented by Drunkless LIFE: Wandering Podcast, in collaboration with Mindshifters IR, where we take your dare suggestions and put them to practice -- ON THE AIR -- and then give a shout-out to you and your favorite recovery group and/or people!
To participate, enter your suggested dares on the Drunkless page or the Mindshifters IR page (NOT the account pages, but the FB PAGES) and comment your suggestion with #DareOnAir. Then tell us about the recovery group of your choice, or the person/people that have inspired you or helped you in some way in your recovery.
We will randomly do a selected challenge and will give a shout-out to the group or person(s) who you feel is rockin’ recovery or has helped you in your sobriety! Be sure to include the name of the group or person you’re wanting us to shout out by preceding it with “@” symbol (this tags them), and leave us a BRIEF message on how they were helpful. Rules are very simple (updates kept here):
- We'll refuse anything that could jeopardize our recovery in any way. Period.
- If it is dangerous or harmful, it is out.
- If it can make us sick, then it falls under rule #2.
- It has to be legal (refer to rule #1).
- It's gotta be safe!
- It's gotta be in fun! (see rule #5).
- Do you know why 6 is afraid of 7?
Some seed-suggestions (as stated on our first podcast doing this challenge):
- Unlabeled canned food, weird restaurant foods, etc.
- Ice dipping (as in, swimming in the winter)
- Super sour and/or very hot foods
These are just seed-ideas. Go from there.
To enter your suggested dares, go to the Drunkless page or the Mindshifters IR page, (not the accounts, but the FB PAGES) and leave us your dare with #DareOnAir. When we randomly do a selected challenge, we will be sure to mention who challenged us.
In order for us to consider the challenge, it must adhere to the rules above, and if we are to do something specific, it must be clearly stated what it is that you want us to do (and again, must follow the above rules). Don't forget to include your favorite recovery group and/or people, and tag them in the post so they know, too!
There are three of us on the Wandering Podcast now, so be sure to note which host you're referring to. Not sure who the hosts are? I guess you'd better start listening! :)
More importantly, bear with us as we continue to grow and learn how to fulfill what you want us to do and discuss, and enjoy the topics for what they are.
